Meet The Nurses

 

 

 

Jess Harrison

Jessica Harrison

Qualifications: Certificate 2 in Animal Care, Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing - Nurse

Jess has always loved animals and wanted to work with them. She joined the Dundas Veterinary Hospital team at the beginning of 2012. Jess has a small dog - Charlie a Pomeranian cross and a Bearded Dragon called Spyro. Outside of work Jess enjoys spending time with her dogs, playing soccer and socialising with friends.

 

Brittany James

Qualifications: Certificate II Animal Studies, Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing - Nurse

Brittany joined the Dundas Veterinary Hospital team in 2015. 

At home, Brittany has 2 dogs (pictured), Maddie and Roxy, and 2 central Bearded Dragon lizards.

Britts hobies include netball, and travel. She is often the unflappable voice on the end of the phone. She is a dedicated and vocationally driven veterinary nurse and maintains the highest professional standards.

 

Savanna Bowker

Qualifications:Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing - Nurse

Savanna joined the Dundas Veterinary Hospital team in 2015. She has finished her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

At home, Savanna has a ginger cat named Kreacher. Originally from South Africa Savanna casually told us about swimming in the same water hole as Rhino's, and of course, that elephant's can be a temperamental nuisance.

We are lucky to have Savanna's kind and very gentle services to assist us.

 

 

Isabelle Kabboura

Qualifications: Certficate III in Animal Studies, Currently studying Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing.

Isabelle joined the Dundas Veterinary Team in Feburary 2018.

Isabelle has recently rescued her first pet (pictured) named Pumpkin. 

Isabelle enjoys baking and going for hikes in her spare time and can be found feeding dozens of strays in her area!

Isabelle is bilingual and speaks English and Lebanese.

 

 

Glory Phan

Qualifications: Certifcate II and III in Animal Studies, Certficate IV In Veterinary Studies - Nurse

Glory enjoys going on walks with her dogs, (something she also does with our boarders)

and her favourite sport is Oztag.

Glory speaks fluent  Australian and can get by in Vietnamese.

Glory has 3 dogs at home; Chopper, Cheeky & Kurama.

 

 

Renai Peatman

Qualifications: Certificate II in Animal Studies, Certficate III in Animal Studies, Certficate III
Captive Animals, Rep
tile Course, Currently studying Certficate IV Veterinary Nursing.

Renai joined our Dundas Veterinary Team in December 2017.

At home Renai has 4 Eclectus Parrots, 1 Rabbit, 2 Turtles, 1 Bearded Dragon, 1 Diamond Python, a Stimpson's Python and 2 Boyd's Forest Dragons. During her spare time you can find Renai hand raising her Eclectus parrots and spending time with her daughter.

 

 

Nour El-Debal

Qualifications: Certificate II in Animals Studies, currently completing Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing - Nurse

Nour has worked at many clinics before finally joining our Dundas Team in July 2018. In her spare time Nour can be found hand raising kittens and fostering during Summer! Nour lives at home with her fiesty cat.

She enjoys spending time with friends and taking her dogs to the park.

 

Karen Mitchell

Karen Mitchell

Karen has been a pet groomer for 17 years, the last 7 with us. A very busy mother of 2, she has been a dog agility instructor for 20 years, and is a member of the Agility Dog Club of NSW.

She has spent 15 years showing and breeding Norwegian Elkhounds and was a member of the Pal superdog Team. She has 2 delta dogs. Karen does comfort and style cuts, and we manage to keep her very busy. Karen is also crazy about horses and her daughter  has achieved great success at the Royal Easter Show in riding.
